So this week was crazy. I had to say goodbye to Jordan, which for me was actually really hard. I didn't want to leave Jordan, but I had too. I said goodbye to everyone I got attached to, where our pensionista made us a delicious pollo a la brasa because I love pollo a la brasa. We also made pizza with our first floor neighbors, which was a little weird because it was like a date night for them with us there but that's okay. I also said goodbye to the Familia Villalobos from Venezuela, where they gave me an American football which really touched me and I had them all sign it with a sharpie which now is one of my most prized possessions.

I also said goodbye to my favorite family ever, the familia Gomez Santos. That was hard to leave them, but I know that they are in good hands and that the missionaries will help the rest of the members get baptized. They are such a special family, I honestly felt almost like a part of the fam with them.

It was kinda sad the way I left, because they told me Sunday in the afternoon that I was leaving the next day, so I didn't really have an opportunity to say goodbye to anyone, but the people we could say goodbye too we did. I loved Jordan so much, I get so used to an area and love everyone there and once I am comfortable I get changed. I guess that is what the mission is like.

I am now in the Barrio Gran Chimu, with my new companion Elder Pacheco. I have to say, once I got here I felt like I was walking into a retirement home because everyone here are grandpas and grandmas, which is a little interesting...... I hope I can strengthen the young people here because they are the heart of missionary work really if they get motivated. We also got some papa johns this week and brought it to the room so that was delicious, because I haven't had that for a pretty long time. That stuff was a little expensive though haha In the ward there are four missionaries, which is a change because now we are working with another companionship but in the district its is just us, which is super duper small for me because I need to see some more missionary faces but its okay I am super excited to get working here and really strengthen this ward.

Overall that was pretty much it. I know this church is true, and I know without a doubt that our Savior knows each and every one of us and our needs. That He loves us, and honestly wants the best for us. I am honored to be learning some of these lessons and how I can mimic my life a little bit more after His. This week I read in John 13 where Jesus washed the feet of His 12 apostles, and explained that the servant is no more than his master. That He loves us that He calls us His friends. That he gave His life, for what greater love is there than Him who died for us? I am so grateful for my Savior who is helping a rebellious and sinful soul as mine edify His kingdom here on earth today. I love the gospel so much!!

Have a great week everyone!!!
